When you donate $75 or any amount you can afford towards our rhinos’ medical care, here’s how your money helps:
- We have to bring in veterinary aid. Our secluded location in the remote Northern Cape of South Africa means that we don’t have a veterinary clinic close by. With so many rhinos in our care, we need regular veterinary check-ups. Not only this, but we often call on vet assistance for emergency operations in the field or to support us in the care of our rhino orphans.
- We conduct continuous research together with veterinary doctors and conservation experts. We are committed to learning all we can about keeping our rhinos, from babies to adults, healthy and strong. Our research includes genetic studies and understanding rhino milk nutrition.
- We are dedicated to keeping our 300 rhinos healthy and in good medical condition. We wouldn’t be able to do this without the expertise of wildlife veterinarians or a veterinary clinic. These costs run into hundreds of thousands of rands each year.
Rhino deaths outnumber births by thousands. Every rhino death and birth is critical to the survival of the species. With the rhino poaching pandemic, we need to work hard to keep each of our rhinos safe and healthy to ensure their survival for future generations.
DONATE $75 OR WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD TO HELP FUND A RHINO’S VET CARE
Keeping our rhinos healthy is no small cost. Please help us by donating to fund our next vet operation. Every dollar counts.
